Privacy Policy — composermp3
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how composermp3 handles data when you use the composermp3 mobile app. composermp3 is a local music library and a rhythm-chart editor and game for iOS and Android: you bring your own audio files, build rhythm charts for them and play those charts.
This policy applies only to composermp3. Other Cubelo Games titles (for example Cubelo, Doblalo or Filoop) have their own separate privacy policies.
Summary
composermp3 does not require an account. We do not ask you to provide your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location, messages, health data, or other profile information.
Your music, covers, charts and scores are stored locally on your device. composermp3 does not operate a backend server and does not upload your music, covers, charts or scores anywhere. composermp3 contains no advertising and no tracking, and it never asks for permission to track you across other apps or websites.
composermp3 uses third-party services only for the optional in-app purchase and for crash diagnostics, as described below.
composermp3 does not sell personal data.
Your Music And Your Content
composermp3 is a tool. It does not provide, stream, sell or distribute music, and it has no music catalog of its own.
- You choose what to import. composermp3 only reads the audio files and cover images that you explicitly select through your device's file picker. It does not scan your device, your music apps or your photo library, and it declares no permission to do so.
- composermp3 does not modify your audio. Imported files are copied into the app's private storage on your device, unchanged, so the app can play them. composermp3 does not edit, remix, convert, re-encode or alter your music. Charts are stored separately as timing data (notes, lanes and positions) next to your song; they are not embedded in your audio.
- composermp3 does not analyze or identify your music. It does not fingerprint, recognize, classify or inspect your audio to learn what it is, and it does not use your content to train any model.
- Your content never leaves your device through composermp3. The app transmits none of it to Cubelo Games or to any third party. The only way a copy leaves the device is when you create an export or a backup and choose a destination yourself (see "Files You Export Or Share").
- You are responsible for your content. Please only import, create charts for, and share audio that you have the right to use. Cubelo Games does not receive, review or have access to the content in your library.
Data Stored Locally On Your Device
composermp3 stores the following data locally on your device so the app can work offline:
- Audio files you import and the covers you choose.
- Song metadata you enter or edit (title, artist, BPM, difficulty).
- The charts you create (notes, lanes, timing).
- Your local scores, combos and rankings per song.
- Settings and preferences (note speed, audio calibration, volumes, haptics, crash reporting preference, tutorials seen).
- A local cache of whether you have unlocked composermp3, so the app can start quickly and work better offline.
This data is not sent to a composermp3-owned backend, because composermp3 does not operate one. It stays on your device until you delete it in the app, overwrite it through normal use, or delete the app.
Files You Export Or Share
composermp3 can export a song and its charts as a .chartpkg file and create a full Library backup. These files are created only when you ask for them and are handed to your device's system share sheet; you decide where they go (Files, email, messaging apps, cloud storage, etc.). composermp3 does not send them to any server.
Export packages and backups contain the audio and covers you imported, so only share audio you have the right to share. Once a file leaves composermp3, it is governed by the app or service you chose, not by this policy. Import and restore read only the files you select.
Permissions
composermp3 does not request access to your microphone, camera, location, contacts, photo library, media library or advertising identifier. Files are accessed only through the system file picker, only the ones you select. The app uses the internet only for the optional purchase and for crash diagnostics.
Data Collected Or Processed By Third-Party Services
composermp3 uses a small number of third-party services. These providers may collect, process, or receive data from your device when their features are used or initialized.
Apple App Store And Google Play
If you make the optional purchase, it is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. composermp3 does not directly receive or store your payment card number.
Apple and Google may process purchase, payment, account, tax, fraud-prevention, and transaction information according to their own policies.
RevenueCat
composermp3 uses RevenueCat to manage the optional one-time purchase and to restore it. The purchase is offered at three amounts that all unlock the same features.
RevenueCat may process data such as:
- Purchase status and entitlement status.
- Product identifiers.
- Apple receipt data or Google purchase tokens.
- Transaction-related information.
- An anonymous app user identifier generated for purchase management.
- Device and app technical information needed to provide and restore access.
composermp3 does not link this identifier to your name or email, and uses RevenueCat only to provide purchase functionality, verify unlock status and restore purchases.
Sentry
composermp3 uses Sentry for crash reporting and diagnostics when crash reporting is enabled in Settings and a production Sentry configuration is present. Crash reporting is on by default and you can turn it off at any time in Settings.
Crash and diagnostic reports may include technical data such as:
- Device model.
- Operating system version.
- App version and build number.
- Error details and stack traces.
- Timestamps.
- Technical diagnostic context needed to understand crashes or reliability problems.
composermp3 is configured to avoid sending direct personal data and to scrub sensitive information (such as file paths and file names) before reports are sent. Reports do not include your audio, covers or charts. Screenshots and performance tracing are disabled.
Purposes For Processing Data
Data may be processed for the following purposes:
- Providing the core experience (library, editor, gameplay) on your device.
- Saving your charts, scores and settings locally.
- Providing and restoring the optional purchase.
- Preventing fraud and abuse related to purchases.
- Diagnosing crashes and improving app reliability.
- Complying with legal, store, payment and platform requirements.
Data Sharing
composermp3 does not sell personal data and does not share data for advertising.
Data may be shared with or processed by:
- Apple App Store and Google Play, for app distribution, purchases, payments, refunds, fraud prevention, taxes and platform compliance.
- RevenueCat, for purchase management and restore.
- Sentry, for crash diagnostics and app reliability.
These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies. Their policies may apply in addition to this Privacy Policy.

Security
composermp3 and its service providers use technical and organizational measures designed to protect data. Data transmitted to third-party services is sent using secure transport such as HTTPS/TLS where supported by those services. Your library stays in the app's private storage on your device and is protected by your device's own security.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
Local data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, overwrite it through normal use, or delete the app. Backups and export packages you create remain wherever you saved or sent them.
Crash reports are retained by Sentry according to the retention settings of the composermp3 Sentry project.
Purchase and entitlement data may be retained by Apple, Google and RevenueCat as needed to provide purchase history, restore purchases, prevent fraud, comply with tax/accounting obligations, resolve disputes and meet legal requirements.
Data Deletion And User Choices
You can:
- Use the core experience fully offline.
- Delete songs, charts and scores in the app, or delete all local data by deleting the app from your device.
- Turn crash reporting on or off in Settings.
- Restore your purchase through the store account used for it.
- Contact Cubelo Games at cubelocontact@gmail.com for privacy questions or deletion requests related to data controlled by us.
composermp3 does not create user accounts, so there is no account to delete, and we hold no copy of your library.
Some data is controlled by third-party providers, stores or payment processors. Requests related to Apple, Google, RevenueCat or Sentry data may need to be made directly to those providers.
Children's Privacy
composermp3 is not directed specifically to children. It contains an optional in-app purchase. If you are not old enough to make in-app purchases in your country without parent or guardian consent, you should use composermp3 only with their permission.
We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information directly to composermp3.
International Processing
Third-party providers may process data in countries other than your country of residence. Those providers are responsible for their own transfer mechanisms, legal bases, and privacy commitments.

We may update this Privacy Policy when composermp3 changes features, service providers, data practices, or legal requirements. The latest version will always be published at https://cubelogames.com/composermp3-privacypolicy, which is the URL used in the app and store listings.
